BoardBinder is getting better every day. We push new updates and improvements as soon as they are finished, making your BoardBinder experience better every time you use it.

This update includes a major overhaul of the navigation and terminology used in BoardBinder.

Your BoardBinder "folders" have been renamed to "groups", which we think is a better description of what they actually are. Each group (ex. "Executive Board") has members, and everything that happens within that group is accessible to those people.

You also have more tools for organizing documents, which is designed to be more like the file and folder structures you're used to elsewhere, so it should feel familiar.

Board and committee members can now see the name and email addresses for the other members. This should make it more clear who they are working with, and even give them a way to contact each other if necessary.

Finally, we've made the recent "scheduling" feature more prominent than before. You'll notice that you can schedule meetings, retreats, or any other board-related events directly within BoardBinder. Those schedules are then automatically shared with everyone in the group, and upcoming event reminders are now included in the weekly emails that members receive. All you have to do is add your meetings and events to the schedule, and we'll take care of the rest.

Within BoardBinder you can now add other "admins" of the board or committee. These people will have the ability to upload files, create events, or even invite other people. This can be particularly handy for giving a board secretary more control over the documents or schedule for the board.
